Tough Time Require Tough Desicions

As an entrepreneur with a business team of 15 families depending on my businesses, I must adapt to the new circumstances and, by any ethical means, search for ways to keep everything running.

The decisions being taken right now by governments throughout the world affect a large number of businesses, which will impact a tremendous amount of people.

Darwin used to say that it is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.

The world has changed, and these next two weeks are paramount to what we will need to do to keep our businesses running during and after this challenge, which will sooner or later pass.

The name of the game RIGHT now is liveliness, quickness, and readiness. It means the capacity of the owner and managers to respond with energy, in front of a challenge like the one we will hit, and Many small, medium, and large businesses are not ready to go through the storm that is in front of us all.

So, as a Certified Bankcode trainer, I bankified the opportunity I see ahead that we will inevitably embrace.

  1. Attention to our activities. Let’s not confuse movement with action. Let’s put focus and direction to what we do.
    1. How are we using our time and effort?
    1. Where are our resources most effective and efficient.
    1. Cash flow, personnel, support services, etc.
    1. How are they responding?
  2. Goals are fundamental. But the process is paramount in these circumstances
    1. How are our established processes working?
    1. How effectively and efficiently are they?
    1. Are we putting attention to your bottom line?
    1. Costs, customer acquisition costs, etc.
  3. Improve our involvement in keeping our relationships with our existing customers
    1. How are we serving them?
    1. Needs are changing. How are we going to adapt to those changes?
    1. How is your team contribute to these changes?
  4. How innovative is your business? This is the business right now.
    1. How fast and accurate are you serving your customers?
    1. How can you adapt to the new changes in technology and customer needs that this economic reset will bring

This challenge will make us work 3 or 4 times more. But let’s not make it hard work, let us make it intelligent, structured, with high involvement and compassion, and at greater speeds.
